FAQs

Care Guide

  • Machine washable Smalls can be safely washed in a washing machine multiple times without shrinkage taking place.

  • Always wash your Smalls at 30 degrees or cooler.

  • We do not recommend tumble drying.

  • Irrespective of the method of cleaning, it is highly recommended that your Smalls are washed inside-out. This will protect the outer surface, and help to keep its as new look for longer.

  • For hand or machine-washing use only a neutral, mild detergent. We recommend Ecover delicate or liquid wash.

Is merino wool good for baby clothes? Is it itchy?

Merino is irritation-free and is perfect for sensitive baby skin. Why? Because the fibre is so incredibly fine - superfine merino is 5 times finer than a human hair! It is also hypoallergenic, and can improve skin conditions such as eczema.

Research papers have actually shown that sleeping in merino nurtures a deeper, more comfortable and restful sleep. Better for growing baby brains, and better for Mum and Dad.

Why is merino wool good for outdoor baby clothes?

The breathable, naturally insulating properties of merino make it a great year-round fabric. ZQ Merino wool helps regulate your baby's temperature and keeps them comfortable in all weather conditions.

Merino wool keeps you warm when it is cool and cool when it is warm, without being bulky. This is particularly important for babywearing, as thick layers of clothing can affect the posture of a baby in a sling and isn't recommended. Stay toasty with merino without the bulk.

It also absorbs and wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping your little one comfortable while out and about for longer.
