Why you'll love it

Perfect for babywearing: The wide waistband, footless design and loose cut fit of these trousers mean that they will stretch with your baby and keep them more comfortable when snuggled into a sling - no tight pressure points here.

Natural temperature control: Keep your little one cosy - you can be confident that the insulating properties of merino will protect your little one when out and about.

Soft and lightweight: Incredibly gentle against sensitive skin and non-bulky to wear, merino is a super comfortable option for your baby - and a comfortable baby is a happy baby (and a happy you!).

Stay cleaner for longer: The inherent antibacterial properties mean that merino requires less washing, reducing your laundry time (hooray!) as well as your energy use and carbon footprint.

    FAQs

    Care Guide

    • Your Merino Dot Baby clothes can be safely washed in a washing machine using a gentle/wool wash.

    • Always wash at 30 degrees or cooler.

    • Do not tumble dry.

    • Although your Merino Dot Baby clothes are easy care and colour fast, we recommend that they are washed inside-out. This will protect the outer
surface, and help to keep the "as new" look for longer.

    • For hand or machine-washing use only a neutral, mild detergent. We recommend Ecover delicate or liquid wool/silk wash.

Is merino wool good for baby clothes? Is it itchy?

Merino is irritation-free and is perfect for sensitive baby skin. Why? Because the fibre is so incredibly fine - superfine merino is 5 times finer than a human hair! It is also hypoallergenic, and can improve skin conditions such as eczema.

Research papers have actually shown that sleeping in merino nurtures a deeper, more comfortable and restful sleep. Better for growing baby brains, and better for Mum and Dad.

Why is merino wool good for outdoor baby clothes?

The breathable, naturally insulating properties of merino make it a great year-round fabric. ZQ Merino wool helps regulate your baby's temperature and keeps them comfortable in all weather conditions.

Merino wool keeps you warm when it is cool and cool when it is warm, without being bulky. This is particularly important for babywearing, as thick layers of clothing can affect the posture of a baby in a sling and isn't recommended. Stay toasty with merino without the bulk.

It also absorbs and wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping your little one comfortable while out and about for longer.
